It gives me immense pleasure being the president of Governing Body of Surajmal Saha Mahavidyalaya, Puri which was established in the year 1980 in the remembrance of great freedom fighter and Ex-Parliamentarian (Upper House) Sj. Surajmal Saha. It is one of the premier colleges in Puri district next to S.C.S (Auto) College. Our efforts to excel as an educational institution are being realized through the support of a dedicated team of faculty members and non-teaching staff. The institution strives to meet the needs and demands of the knowledge society and provides the students with the intellectual resources and skills, they need to prosper in their life. The college education transforms each young adult to an independent and responsible citizen. It is not just about acquiring degrees or scoring marks rather about learning and gaining knowledge that will become the building blocks to a successful career and address the variety of issues.
